FWC Awards $607,500 in Research Grants, Awards, and Prizes in 2023-2024
The Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) is pleased to announce the 2023-2024 FWC research grant, award, and prize recipients.
This year, the FWC will award $607,500 total in research grants, awards, and prizes.
The FWC research grant, award, and prize program strives to accelerate the research of young investigators and promote the long-term success of the gynecologic oncology field.
“We are so excited about the quality and significance of the projects awarded FWC grants this year,” said Charles Landen, MD, FWC Research and Grants Committee Chair. “Our funded proposals span the many opportunities to make a significant impact on gynecologic cancers, from screening, early detection, novel treatments, basic science, and quality of life. We are honored to support the future of gynecologic oncology advancements.”
On March 16, 2024, during the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer, recipients were honored during the meeting’s opening ceremony, welcomed to a photography session with the FWC Chair, and in upcoming weeks, will be featured on the FWC Instagram and Twitter accounts.
