FWC and UChicagoMed Move the Message with the Chicago Sky
Recently, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) was able to show up for gynecologic cancer awareness at the Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings home game on Aug. 2. We were thrilled to support our home team, and even more excited to #MoveTheMessage with UChicago Medicine.
Before the game, Polished Pebbles Girls Mentoring Program and Ladies of Virtue joined us for an educational experience with Dr. Yamada, Former Society of Gynecologic Oncology President and UChicago Medicine Section Chief and Dr. Gardner, FWC Chair. After the pre-event, we had the opportunity to watch the talented Chicago Sky team take on the Dallas Wings and hand out bracelets and brochures about gynecologic cancer.
