What Are You Racing For?
Every step on September 20 carries a name.
Before Race Day, and throughout the morning at Freedom Plaza, participants are invited to dedicate their movement through the Move4Her Virtual Ribbon Wall.
Add the name of a survivor, thriver, caregiver, loved one — or yourself — and select one of the five gynecologic cancer ribbon colors to represent your story.
On Race Day, look for QR codes throughout Freedom Plaza to pin a ribbon in real time. You can also add a physical ribbon at the Survivor Tent, where the tribute wall will grow throughout the morning.

A Space to Honor, Reflect, and Celebrate Resilience
At the Race to End Women’s Cancer, survivors are at the heart of why we move. The Survivor Tent is a dedicated space designed to recognize your strength, share your story, and connect with others who understand the journey.
This is not just a shaded rest area. It is a place of acknowledgment, community, and celebration.
Inside the Survivor Tent, you’ll find:
- Ribbon Wall Installation – Select from one of the five gynecologic cancer ribbon colors and add the name of a survivor, thriver, caregiver, loved one, or yourself to our ribbon wall. This living tribute grows throughout the morning as participants share who they are moving for.
- Recorded Survivor Stories – A quiet space where survivors can choose to share short reflections about their journey, strength, and hope. These stories help shape the future of advocacy and awareness.
- Educational Materials – Information on prevention, early detection, survivorship resources, and Foundation programs.
- Giveaways & Keepsakes – Thoughtful tokens and commemorative items.
- Photo Backdrop – Capture a moment with family, friends, or fellow survivors.
- Comfort & Connection – Shaded seating, light snacks, water, and a welcoming space to gather before or after the Race.
